Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch #94

Blue Ribbon Graduation Congratulation

If you've been reading my blog posts, you know we are on vacation in Tucson, AZ visiting family and here for our niece, Jessica.   It is hard to believe that Jessica is graduating from High School  I remember how little she was as a Junior Bridesmaid and now she has grown into a beautiful young woman with plans for college.  Jessica is a very creative individual so I made a Graduation card for her featuring the Blue Ribbon stamp set.  The card features her school's colors which are Green & Gold.  So… Congratulations Jess!

The card base features one of the new in-colors called Mossy Meadow layered with another new in-color called Hello Honey and the top layer of Whisper White.  On the top layer, I stamped a chevron pattern with the Encore Gold Metallic Ink using a new stamp set called Work of Art.  Next, I stamped the "Blue RIbbon" also using the Hello Honey Classic Ink and punched it out using the 2 1/2" Scallop Circle Punch.  The center is stamped with the Congrats Grad using Mossy Meadow Classic Ink, punched out using the 1 3/8" Circle punch layered onto the scallop circle.

I stamped the sentiment is stamped also using the Mossy Meadow Classic Ink featuring A Dozen Thoughts Stamp Set.  The banner was created by cutting the Whisper White in a strip then the ends punched using the 1" Square Punch and scored twice at an angle on each side of the stamped "bravo."  The finishing touches include the Basic Metal Buttons tied with Gold Baker's Twine.  Then in the upper right corner, I added a banner using the Banner Framelits and a heart punched from the Gold Foil Sheets.

The colors are really lots of fun and very bold.  So, I hope you enjoy and PIN my card.  (And I admit, this card keeps growing on me…)  Don't forget to visit the Paper Craft Crew Challenge Blog to check out the creations from the other Design Team members!
