The Easy Events stamp set is such a great, versatile stamp set perfect for the new stamper. This set has a good number of stamps that cover a variety of events. I really enjoyed creating this card using the Stampin' Queen's Sketch Challenge #9. A friend recently had a baby boy and I needed to create a cute "Congratulations Baby Card" for the big event.

Sunny Girl Scraps Helpful Hints:

Use blender pens to soften the coloring on the stamped image if you decide to color in the image especially for a baby card.
Layer darker colors lightly over lighter colors to add dimension when coloring an image. In this case, I used pumpkin pie to lightly add depth to the ducky image.
Use the Stampin' Write Markers for a brighter, more saturated color when coloring an image.
Using a background stamp with heat embossing is a great way to create texture on a card and fun to do!
Start from the outside and work towards the center when coloring in the stamped image to create shading and depth.
Sketches are a great way to help get the "juices" flowing and have fun without a whole lot of extra work.

Actually, I'm really excited about this weeks sketch. It is the first sketch that I've created for the Stampin' Queens so I also had fun creating this baby card as an interpretation of my sketch.
