Peaceful Pines Christmas Card
November! Yes, it is the Month of November and another year is almost over. I love the Holiday's during this time of year but I dislike the reminder of the passing of time. October was a busy month in our home. Grandma & Grandpa arrived from Minnesota for a visit which meant Caleb got to hang out at their camper, go to the pumpkin patch with them and have Grandma picking him up from school. He also had his first field trip as a Kindergartner to Vollmer Farms.
My parents came for a visit and enjoyed Trick or Treating with our son. Caleb especially LOVED having Grandma going with him as he went from house to house Trick or Treating dressed as Marshall from Paw Patrol. Grandpa actually stayed at the house to hand out candy to the kids then we joined him when we were done. Halloween really was a fun evening at the Staples home. But November 1st came to fast along with the departure of my parents. We will see them at Thanksgiving but Caleb is struggling to understand that he has to wait until the end of the month to see Grandma & Grandpa along with his cousins. Isn't my Marshall cute!
Onto the Paper Craft Crew… I have a card filled with favorites! One of my favorite Stamp Sets (or 2), favorite Designer Series Paper, favorite embellishment(s) and so much more. The Peaceful Pines Stamp Set with the coordinating Framelits are awesome. I love the pine tree that I used on this card with the saying. The Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper is gorgeous. You just got to love the Snowflake Elements. Then there is the awesome Seam Binding.
Have I mentioned the Thick Whisper White lately? Oh, yeah, this stuff is awesome. The Thick Whisper White is definitely my favorite and must have for the card base. I've used the Mossy Meadow card stock as the card front base layered with Whisper White and the Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper then topped off with the Night of Navy Seam Binding.
Using the card sketch as the outline for my card, I die cut the Hello Honey decorative layer using the Deco Labels Collection Framelits layered behind the top layer of Mellow Moss and on the Whisper White layer I used the Watercolor Wash Background stamp set with Hello Honey. The Pine Tree from the Peaceful Pines stamp set is stamped with Mellow Moss classic ink then cut out with the Perfect Pines Framelits. Tucked behind the pine tree in the bottom corner is a Snowflake Element.
